INSTALLATION

  • Dry fit all hardware and tray prior to installation to ensure proper fit

  • Ensure all necessary hardware is available

  • Ensure Trunck Tray wheels fit in grooves of truck bed when centered on bed.

  • 3M TM VHB (Very Heavy Bond) double sided tape is used for hardware attachment. This tape is very strong so be sure of location of hardware prior to application. For removal instructions, please refer to 3M instructions for further details. 100% of bond will be achieved after 72 hours.

  • Reference 3M Bonding and Assembly (https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/bonding -and-assembly-us/resources/full-story/?storyid=b3996cbd-9954-455f-8e72-88e452ca38c0) for more information.

  • Trunck Bar comes in two pieces with an interlocking joint. The bar is to go into the groove in the center of the truck bed for F - 150 and RAM 1500. For Chevy and GMC trucks, the bar is to go into the first groove off the raised hump in the center of the bed.

  • Place bar, without 3M TM double sided tape installed, on the raised hump next to where the bar should be installed.

  • In the groove where bar is to be installed, peel backing and place the first strip of tape 1” from the front wall of bed.

  • In the groove where bar is to be installed, peel backing and place the second strip of tape 1” from the tailgate.

  • In the groove where bar is to be installed, peel backing and place the third strip of tape where the interlocking joint is. Evenly distribute tape to each side of the joint

  • Place front bar, with the raised bracket, against the front bed and place on tape.

  • Place rear bar, with interlocking joint first, and place on tape.

  • Stand on bar to apply pressure to help tape adhesion.

  • Place tray in bed and test hardware. Ensure that the drop latch drops when tray is engaged in front of bed.
